Focus group questions for final web drama trailer
1. Does our web drama fit the conventions? Thumbs up, thumbs down.
2. Does it fit into the horror genre? yes or no.
3. What would you rate the web drama out of 5, 1 being the worst and 5 being good?
4. Does it attract to want to watch it? write yes or no on sheet and why.
5. Lastly what was the best part about it do you think? Ask a few people their opinions.
We gathered some people to watch our web drama and to answer a few questions about the web drama. By doing this we are able to get good feedback on what their opinions were on our web drama and what improvements could of been made.
Q1. Everyone put their thumbs up, showing that we followed the conventions of the horror genre.
Q2. All of the people we asked put ‘Yes’
Q3. All of the people we asked voted 4 this shows that it was effective as this is high.
Q4. Everyone said yes, some of the reasons for this was that it gripped them into wanting to know what happens next and another was they wanted to know who the other girl was and if she had died.
Q5. We asked Dan and he said that he like the fast montage at the end, this is the scene we wanted to stand out the most. Courtney said that she thought the music was effective to her because she thought it created tension.
From this we have learnt that we have created an effective web drama and we have produced one that is exactly how we wanted it to be. From the focus group it has allowed us to learn that our web drama is suitable for the target audience, that they like it and would also want to see it if they saw it advertised.
